Spring Equinox Drinks

Let's celebrate spring with bright, refreshing drinks.

March is when you have the equinox. This basically means the sun has moved across the equator from down south to up north where we are.

The days and nights are now the same length, and you'll notice leaves forming on the trees and the evenings getting lighter.

It's also around the time we celebrate Easter a time of renewal and celebration of spring.

It's also the perfect time to shake off those winter blues and embrace the sunshine. Even if it is only in little bursts here or there.

There's something truly uplifting about a chilled, vibrant beverage on a sunny spring afternoon. It's not just about quenching your thirst; it's about taking some time outside to get some vitamin D, enjoying refreshing drinks.

Kombucha, with its natural fizz and tangy sweetness, is the perfect companion for enjoying spring.

Elderflower & Lemon Blossom Spritzer

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Elderflower cordial (non-alcoholic)
  • 1 oz. Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 oz. Sparkling white grape juice (or sparkling water)
  • 2 oz. Soda water
  • Garnish: Lemon slices, edible flowers (violets, pansies, or elderflower blossoms if in season), and a sprig of thyme.


Golden Peach & Turmeric Kombucha Elixir

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. Peach & Turmeric Moocha Kombucha (chilled)
  • 1 oz. Peach puree (or strained peach juice)
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground turmeric (or 1 inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: Peach slices, a thin slice of fresh ginger, and a sprig of rosemary.


Sunrise Kombucha Citrus Boost

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Freshly squeezed orange juice (chilled)
  • 4 oz. Moocha Kombucha Peach & Turmeric
  • 1 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Grated fresh ginger (optional, for an extra kick)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: Orange slice, a sprig of mint, and a few fresh berries.
